Dr. David Anthony, D.C.

Dr. Anthony grew up in suburban Detroit and did his pre-professional education at Michigan State University. Prior to attending college, Dr. Anthony was an avid ice hockey player and a back injury at a young age led him to seek real help, chiropractic healing. His original plans included a traditional medical education, however due to the influence of his mentor, Robert Stiles DC, his perspective of true health and health care changed. He completed his chiropractic education at Logan College where his family chiropractor was trained, and graduated from Logan College in 1989, Magna Cum Laude, and began active practice in St. Louis, MO. The fantastic climate of Florida brought his parents to our great state, and in 1990 Dr. Anthony began his life long career in Lehigh Acres, FL. As his mentor, Dr. Anthony specializes in “hands on” straight forward, traditional, chiropractic techniques. His training includes Thompson, Cox, Goateed, as well as “low force” techniques, such as Activator, McKenzie and Sacral Occipital techniques. His most recent education was completed under the instruction of Dr. Jay Kennedy, and our clinic now offers, state of the art, decompression therapy. This is not a “one protocol fits all” approach, and we invite you to discover our approach that is science based.
Aside from health care, Dr. Anthony is an avid fisherman and golfer, however his first priority away from the office is his family. He is supported by is lovely wife Amy, and two sons, Alex, and Max (as well as his adored shih tzu, Suzie).
